Education: Tax Law at University of Amsterdam.

Specialisation: Wage withholding tax and expatriate services, especially Dutch tax consequences of Equity Incentives, wage tax and social security due diligences and payroll reviews.

Martijn started his tax career in the year 1999 at the Dutch tax authorities. In the beginning of the year 2001 he joined Andersen Tax Advisors (afterwards: Deloitte) and worked here till yearend 2008 as a wage withholding tax specialist.

Martijn has a broad experience with wage tax and social security due diligences and payroll reviews. In this capacity he worked closed with the Mergers & Acquisition professionals of Deloitte. Within Andersen and Deloitte Martijn worked for many multinationals that were active in the field of Technology, Media, Telecom and Manufacturing sector.

Martijn has extensive knowledge of the Dutch tax consequences of granting Equity Incentives to employees working in the Netherlands. Martijn was an active member of the Deloitte Global Equity Consulting Services-team.

Martijn has several publications to his name in leading trade journals. Currently Martijn is one of the Dutch Chapter Coordinators of the international Global Equity Organization (www.globalequity.org).
