Education: Tax Law at the University of Leiden.

Specialisation: Wage withholding tax and expatriate services, especially employee benefits and international wage tax/social insurance.

Maurice graduated in 1996 as a tax lawyer and immediately started working at Price Waterhouse in Rotterdam. Thereupon, Maurice worked at Loyens & Loeff in Amsterdam as a wage withholding tax specialist. As of December 2000, Maurice found his feet at Deloitte Tax Advisors.

In recent years, Maurice has developed into a leading wage withholding tax specialist who, first and foremost, has a passion to serve the client and for his profession. A review of employment conditions, the supervision of fixed expense allowance, support in audits of the books, advising regarding the new work-costs regulation and cross-border assignments are Maurice’s favourite wage withholding tax specialisations.

In addition to providing consultancy services, Maurice is a regular speaker at seminars, and he is a teacher in post-academic Tax Law. Maurice furthermore publishes in leading trade journals, and he is the author of the book Employee Benefits and co-author of the Fiscal Encyclopaedia NDFR.
