Education: Tax and economics at the University of Tilburg.

Specialisation: Wage withholding tax and expatriate services, especially Dutch tax consequences of cross border employment, wage tax and social security due diligences and fixed expense allowances.

Olav started his tax career in 2000 at Deloitte in The Hague and moved to the Amsterdam office a few years later. Olav has an extensive expertise on (wage) tax and social security consequences of national and cross border employment situations. He served many large Dutch and foreign multinationals in coordinating and ensuring their compliance exposure following their Dutch expat population. In this capacity he has broad experience with wage tax and social security consequences of expats and processing the Dutch payroll.

Olav performed many due diligences and payroll reviews. Olav was a member of the Deloitte Global Equity Consulting Services-team, which team is specialised in the tax and social security aspects of equity related remuneration.

In addition to providing consultancy services, Olav also publishes in leading trade journals, is a co-author of Fiscaal Alert 2012 and speaks at seminars.
